Thanks to all members of Hope Lutheran Church for the generous gift of $1,000 to Food for the Poor received from the Thanksgiving offering. This money will help build a home in Honduras for a family who really deserves it. The house will cost $3,200. We are almost 1/3 of the way there. An anonymous donor will match this so that two homes will be built instead of just one.
Much has been given to us. Much is expected of us. We hope to pay for this home in 2012. Donations can be made on a continuing basis. Make your check payable to Hope Lutheran and write in the memo section: “Food for the Poor”. If you have any questions, please call the church office (424-4848).
