“Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly.” 1 Timothy 4:7
“Jesus and Me Time” is our preschool and grade school program. Children meet in Kid’s Kingdom for an opening “children’s church” experience including age appropriate songs, short Bible readings, and prayers. Then they are taken to their grade-specific classrooms for instruction and activities centered on the Bible story for the week.
Junior High youth meet in grade-specific classes for fellowship and teaching. Grades 6-7 focus on learning to navigate the Bible and building a foundation of scriptural knowledge. Grade 8 focuses on a basic understanding of Christian doctrine and life-application.
Senior High meets as a group for fellowship and teaching. This group tackles some of the challenging topics faced by young men and women and provides encouragement, support, and care for our teens as they prepare for adulthood.
Every Sunday at 9:45 am between services there is a Bible Study for congregant members, including a separate women’s Bible study group for those interested.
Pastor Mike Cofer is leading a “Fundamentals of the Faith” course. It provides an overview of the belief and practice of Hope Lutheran, and includes opportunities to learn about ways to use your God-given talents and abilities at Hope. Although it is open to anyone, those who want to become members of our congregation will definitely want to attend this class.
