“The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10
Christians have the most precious thing in all of the world: the good news of life and salvation through Jesus Christ. At Hope, we think it is wrong to keep that good news to ourselves.
We believe that it is important for every Christian to share Jesus with the people around them. We want to do more than just open the church doors and hope that people come in. We want to bring Jesus to the people around us who need Him the most.
It’s a good thing to support missionaries all around the world, but there is a mission field all around us. Our own neighborhoods, our own places of employment, our children’s schools… All of them are full of people who don’t know Jesus yet, or who have given up on Him at some point in life.
At Hope, we’ve made it a goal to reach out to our communities with God’s love. As a church we are focused at reaching out to our neighborhood. We’ve even become partners with Fairfield Elementary to minister to families and teachers in need.
Even if they don’t become members of our church… Even if they never even visit our building… We want more than anything for our friends, neighbors, and coworkers to know and love Jesus the way that we do.
